Locked out

In order to recover my digital life, I need to be able to log in to things. This means I need to know my usernames (easy) and my passwords (hard). All my passwords are stored in a Password Manager. I _can_remember the password to that. But logging in to the manager also requires a 2FA code. Which is generated by my phone.

I truly hope I never need it, but I’ve got my 1Password key stored at a friends’ house, and added him as a recovery contact for my Apple ID too.

So even if my wives’ stuff burns down too, there’s a road to recovery.
