Space Age & Monument Valley

I’m home sick the next couple of days, so the timing of these two releases is perfect.

Monument Valley

I replayed the original Monument Valley this weekend while taking the Eurostar to Londen. It’s a piece of art: it combines beautiful designs, optical illusions and a nice gameplay in a good package.

This update adds 10 new levels, and although there’s been some controversy about it being not free, it’s more than worth the price. Good games cost money to make. Period.

And I really hope this tweet is just emotions of the moment..

That’s it, we’re giving up the premium game. Next time we’re just going to sell you 500 coins for $2 instead.— ustwogames (@ustwogames) November 12, 2014

Space Age

Space Age is a game of cosmic adventure. Set in the retro-futuristic sci-fi world of 1976, it follows a small but determined band of intergalactic explorers who land on a seemingly uninhabited planet, Kepler-16. They soon discover there’s something both strange and familiar about this alien place… – Big Bucket

Viticci has a great review (as usual), but since this game has been so long in the making, it’s bound to be good!
